Laura & Greg: A Red Barn at Outlook Farm Wedding

The first weekend in November was glorious. With temperatures already dipping below freezing, late fall weddings can be a bit touch and go with regards to the weather. But Laura and Greg were blessed with 65 degrees and sunny; a perfect day! I met up with Laura at Du Da Spa in Portsmouth where she was getting her hair and make up done. I’d never been in Du Da before, and I loved all of the color and the modern feel. Such a cool place! We then went across the street to the Portsmouth Sheraton where Laura continued getting ready. Greg was also getting ready at the Sheraton, and my friend Coco met up with him and the guys briefly before they headed to the church in Exeter, NH. Dressed and ready to go, the ladies all departed for Exeter too. Just a little while later Laura and her parents followed in a beautiful classic Bentley. After the ceremony we all drove over to Hamilton House in Berwick, Maine for family and group portraits. This was a highlight of the day for me. Hamilton House is such a wonderful spot for pictures, and one I have always wanted to shoot at (I go there with my kids and the dog). We were not the only ones taking advantage of the incredible weather — there must have been a half other photographers buzzing about for engagement and family sessions. Laura and Greg stole the show, however! We then took off for the Red Band just a few miles away for the reception. Good food, GREAT music from the Wicked Smart Horn Band, and a wonderful time was had by all. We even caught a stunning sunset out on the 18th hole of the golf course early in the evening! Below are some of my favorite images from the day…

Thank you Laura and Greg for being so great to work with and for having us to photograph your big day. Special thanks also to Coco Boardman for joining me. Great work also by the following:
