A Nonantum Resort Wedding – Renee & Bill

September always kicks off the busiest time of the year for me, and what better way to dive into the busy season than with Renee and Bill’s Maine wedding at the Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport. Coastal Maine is gorgeous pretty much any time of year, but in the late summer, with a coastal breeze, there isn’t really a better place in the world to have a wedding, in my opinion.

I was once again joined by Chris, and we began as Renee and Bill got ready for their big day. As I arrived, the girls were in full gear with hair and make-up, champagne and laughter. Right away I knew this was going to be a fun day!

Renee and Bill bucked the streak of first looks and opted to see each other at the ceremony. Bill apparently wanted to make a grand entrance, and he and his groomsmen arrived via wooden schooner. How cool is that? Their ceremony was officiated by a good friend of Renee’s, which is always a nice touch.

I-dos done, we snuck off to the jetty for a few pictures after wrapping up the family portraits. The sky was amazing, and that kept stunning us, culminating with a colorful sunset later in the evening. As expected, the party was rocking… and the floor thumping… and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, to put it mildly. Here some of what happened…

Renee and Bill, thank you for having us at your wedding, and thank you Chris for joining me once again. Great working with the following people:
