A Mount Washington Hotel Wedding – Jeannette & John

You never know what to expect in November in the White Mountains. Maybe a brisk bluebird day, or maybe some snow. No matter what, you can expect it to be unpredictable. And such was the case for Jeannette and John’s wedding at the Mount Washington Hotel. The drive up from the valley was cloudy and drizzly, but above the notch it was light snow and quite chilly. But that was not going to derail Jeannette and John’s plans for an outside ceremony in the mountains. After all, this was the couple who had their engagement session atop a mountain in the middle of winter!

Our day kicked off with some getting ready photos, and then a first look on the front veranda. The chill drove us inside for some portraits, but we all joined up again outside for the ceremony on the Jewell Terrace… complete with downhill ski arch during their recessional! Everyone moved back inside to warm up and get the party started in the Grand Ballroom.

A highlight of the reception was fireworks on the back side of the hotel. Who doesn’t love fireworks on a wedding day?!?!? Take a peek below at some of my favorite images from their fantastic White Mountain wedding…

Thank you Jeanette and John for having us along to document your day. A big thanks to David for joining me once again. Great work also by the following folks…
