A Providence Library Wedding – Nancy & Jonathan

Nancy and Jonathan we married last December at the Providence Public Library in Providence, Rhode Island. David and I met up with them as they got ready at the nearby Omni Hotel. They had a first look in the amazing mezzanine at the hotel before everyone headed over to the Library for family and wedding party photos. More and more couples are choosing to do a first look so that they can enjoy their cocktail hour and time with guests without worry about portraits. This is almost 100% true for winter weddings when days are shorter and it gets dark early.

Their ceremony took place in the main hall’s atrium in front of the gorgeous Christmas tree. Following, guests enjoyed cocktails in the main hall prior to Nancy and Jonathan’s big entrance and first dance. An incredible dinner began with toasts, and transitioned back into the main hall for parent dances and the main party. This was such a fun day to document, and Jonathan and Nancy were so wonderful to work with. Below are some of my favorite images from the day. Check ’em out!

Thank you Nancy and Jonathan for having us along to document you big day. And a huge thanks to David for traveling down to Rhode Island with me and for his always awesome images. Great work also by the following folks…
