A Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor Hotel Wedding – Kim & Rob

Kim and Rob were married last summer in Boston, and celebrated their wedding at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor Hotel. I first met up with Rob at the hotel as he and the guys were getting ready were getting ready. Then it was upstairs to meet up with Kim as she put on the finishing touches and her gown. It’s always fun to be around this part of the day as everyone experiences variations of excitement and nervous anticipation. It’s usually recipe for lots of laughter!

At the appointed time, we hopped in the limo for the slow crawl during rush hour to church in the North End. Kim walked down the aisle with her mother and brother, where Rob met her for their I-dos. Outside the church, the sun was shining and everyone prepared for a ferry ride back to the hotel, blessedly avoiding the Friday afternoon traffic. What is it they say about the best laid plans? While it was known that Kim and Rob wanted to do a ew photos at the church after guests left, somewhere along the line communication was muddled and the boat left without us! We took the opportunity for some more portraits, and enjoyed the view back across the harbor. Eventually the boat came back and we were all off to the hotel too, even if a little late. We rushed through family portraits, and then made ready for the reception.

Under the tent, and after introductions, everyone was entertained by toasts with the backdrop of the setting sun. We rushed out for a few last portraits with the purple sky, and then it was time to party. And that is just what everyone did! It was a great evening, and I am excited to finally share a little glimpse of it below…

Kim and Rob, thank you for having me along to document your wedding day. Despite the boat leaving us behind, it was an amazing day! Great work by the following folks…
