A Boston Harbor Cruise Wedding – Cody & Heath

Cody and Heath were married this past Fall on a boat in Boston Harbor. Prior to the ceremony, we spent a couple of hours exploring south Boston and the waterfront area. They were so much fun to photograph. Unlike 90% of the couples that I work with, they seemed completely comfortable and not very self conscious of the camera. This was great because their personalities and love for one another was what shone through.

I loved spending a couple of hours with Cody and Heath prior to their wedding ceremony. I don’t often get to spend so much time with a couple on their wedding day, so it was fantastic! We then wandered back to Seaport Elite Yacht where we had a boat to catch! Once on board, all of their guests were waiting topside for the wedding. The captain moved us out into the harbor, and stopped right across from the Boston Harbor hotel for the ceremony, with the Boston skyline as the backdrop. I have shot many times in Boston, but this was the first time I have shot from this perspective for a ceremony!

Following the ceremony, we knocked out family portraits as the sun set, before heading downstairs for the reception. Post dinner everyone was ready to party, and boat both literally and figuratively started rocking! Below are some of my favorite images from the day. Check ’em out!

Thanks Cody and Heath for literally having me along for the (boat) ride! It was great fun spending the evening with you and your family and friends. Great work by the following folks…
