Maria & Andrew: An Inn on Newfound Lake Wedding // NH Wedding Photographer

It was slightly over a year since I had been to the Inn on Newfound Lake in Bridgewater, NH (see Anna & Jake’s weddings), so I was very excited to be headed back for Maria and Andrew’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. The Inn is like having all of New England wrapped into one little spot… mountains, a lake, quaint B&B and a restored barn. I am also now convinced that Newfound Lake is home to the most amazing sunsets on the region; that or I am just lucky! Moody sunset or not, this day was fantastic, and how could it not be with such a great couple. Both Andrew and Maria were so great to spend the day with… from Andrew’s never-ending big smile, to Maria belting out lyrics with the band during the reception, they were just awesome! Here’s a peek at how the day unfolded…

Arriving in Bridegwater….

I met up with Maria and shot a few details to start…

I love her shoes…

Mom arrives to help Maria get ready…

Dad arrived just a short while later…

Across the way, David met Andrew briefly before he headed out to greet guests…

David snuck in a few portraits. I mentioned Andrew’s never-ending smile….

Back inside, and few final adjustments…

And Maria was ready to go…

David caught a few details at the ceremony while waiting for us. The Fall colors were incredible…

Here comes the bride…

The ceremony…

Lots of laughs in this one…

Married!

Following the ceremony we had a little time for portraits, and managed a few spots around the Inn…

The highlight, for me, by far was the sunset. It was just amazing! I shot A LOT, and here are a few of my favorites…

Yeah, there was a sea plane. You can’t make this stuff up!

With the sun fading, and more importantly the time, we headed back inside…

Some dining room details, mostly captured by David while we were out taking portraits. Great job David!

This is by far one of my favorite chandeliers anywhere…

First dance goodness…

Was followed by a welcoming toast by Maria’s father…

And the combination of cake cutting and birthday candles…

Parent dances…

And then the party started, with music by The Soul Sensations

Part way through the reception, Maria took the mic for a couple of songs. She’s an amazing singer, and she killed it!

And the crowd LOVED it!

The coup de grace was a fireworks show at the end of the evening. Fireworks at a wedding are so cool!

Thank you Maria and Andrew for bringing me along for the ride. From start to finish your day was incredible. And thank you also to David for your always great work.
