Megan & Mark: A Mount Washington Hotel Wedding

I’ve spent a few days at the Mount Washington Hotel so far this year. It’s a good thing it’s one of my favorite places in NH to photograph… it’s absolutely gorgeous and the staff — from planners to wait staff to concierge — is second to none. I mean that, they are AWESOME! (Thank you Viktor for jumping my car battery, running it for awhile to charge it up, and then keeping it nearby in case we needed it. YOU ROCK!). But, what makes a day at the Mount Washington truly magical is spending it with a bunch of really great people on one of the happiest days of their lives. Such was the case a week and a half ago at Megan and Mark’s wedding. After staying over from Michelle and Zach’s wedding on Saturday, Matt and I were up and ready to go on Sunday. The day was spectacular… cool, some clouds some sun, and bursting with energy. When I arrived with Megan right out of the gate she had me cracking up as she declared “I look like a Muppet half the time; good luck!” I don’t know about that, Megan, but you do have some great expressions. It’s fun to be animated, and we enjoyed it all day long. Don’t worry, I think we got some good ones too! Matt spent time with Mark and his groomsmen, and for the second day in a row I heard, “Matt’s the man!” I think we all got along splendidly, and we had a great time creating these images. Sure we were derailed when we all piled into my car and the battery was dead, but we recovered nicely, despite my extreme embarrassment! What follows is the very special story of Megan and Mark’s wedding day…

Thank you Megan and Mark for being so great to shoot for and spend the day with! And special thanks to Matt Grazier for joining me for the weekend. Great work by the following:
