Heather & Dan: A Zorvino Vineyard Wedding

I couple of weeks ago — which is the same way my last two wedding posts have started because they were all from the same weekend — I was excited to be back at Zorvino Vineyard for Heather and Dan’s awesome wedding. It had been over three years since I last photographed a wedding there, so it was fun to go back with fresh eyes and a new perspectives. I was also just plain excited for this day ever since Heather and Dan’s engagement session in Boston. Some couples are uncomfortable in front of the camera, unsure of what to do or how to act. That’s OK, but it’s not Heather and Dan. Heather almost oozes confidence, and Dan has a kind of I’m-a-quiet-nice-guy-badass thing going… i.e. the camera likes him too! Combine that with an appreciation for photography and a willingness to put in the effort to create some cool images, and I was psyched. Oh, did I mention that Heather and Dan were also guests at Tricia and Mike’s wedding last year, which was a highlight day, and that they would be here also? I not-so-secretly crossed my fingers for a replay of Mike’s amazing dance moves. Heather and Dan’s moves were pretty top notch too, and I think Dan spent more time on the dance floor than any groom I have seen this year. The energy level at the reception was intense. We did take a short break for some night time portraits and to cool off, and then they were right back at it. The music, the dancing, the laughing were all infectious. Their day certainly lived up to my expectations there is no doubt it will go down as another highlight event. Below are a few of my favorite images and moments from the day…

Thank you Heather and Dan for allowing us to document your day And thanks also to David for joining me. Great work also by the following:
