Jackson Cabinet Company

Last Friday I was at the shop of Jackson Cabinet Company hanging with master carpenter Nat Maness. I was there to photograph a few pieces of furniture that he just completed and to take a few new portraits. I had really been looking forward to this shoot. You see, my grandfather was a carpenter and I practically grew up in his and my father’s basement wood shops. But unlike all of the classic hand tools that I grew up using, Nat has all the cool “toys”! Aside from making some images, it was cool to see the shop and speak with Nat about his work. Below are a few images from the session, and I look forward to photographing more of Nat’s amazing work in the future…
