Lindsay & John: A Winter Boston Engagement Session

Yesterday I posted my last wedding of 2013, and here is my last engagement session. Last week I traveled into the city for Lindsay and John’s e-session. It just happened to be during the coldest spell of weather that we had yet to see all year — only since surpassed by the past couple of days! Most people would not even consider an outside session with temps in the teens — and worse when we went down by the river with the wind chill — but that didn’t stop Lindsay and John! I met them at their apartment on Beacon Street where we nailed down the game plan and bundled up to brave the cold (which entailed some adult beverages for them!). A few steps on their front stoop, and we headed over to the Mass Ave. bridge that crosses to Cambridge. The wind let us know who was boss, and we quickly took shelter along the banks of the Charles, where we also happened to catch a view of sunset. A quick stop back at their apartment to warm up and we were off to Comm Ave. for some shots with the Christmas lights all aglow. The holiday lights were actually what drew Lindsay’s to a winter engagement session, and rightfully so… they are awesome! We finished the session in the Boston Public Library, where it was nice and warm. I had a great time, despite the cold (it never really bothers me though; I guess that’s the ice climber in me), and I am really looking forward to their wedding next September on the NH seacoast. For now, here are a few of my favorites…
