Portraits in Paradise — Huatulco, Mexico

As I posted yesterday, I spent last week in paradise, otherwise known as Huatulco, Mexico. I’ve been to the Mayan Riviera on the eastern coast of Mexico 4 or 5 times, but this was my first trip to the west coast… it’s so different, and so much my style! Cliffs rising from the water all along the ocean’s edge… oh how I regretted now having climbing gear! I was traveling with 40 other photographers and friends for a week away relaxing, shooting and learning with some of the best wedding shooters in the U.S., Canada and the UK. The experience was incredible. While there, I had the opportunity to photograph some wonderful couples. Shooting amongst palm trees and on pristine beaches is so vastly different from back here in New Hampshire, and something I could get VERY used to! Below are a few of my favorite portraits from those sessions. Thanks also to Nathan Desch and Jason Prezant for helping out and taking a swim to hold my lights during the last sunset shoot!
