A Barn at Gibbet Hill Wedding – Kimberly & Jeff:

We’re still in the calm before the wedding storm here in the northeast, but even though it’s considered the “slow” season I have some fun things to share, such as Kim and Jeff’s fantastic wedding a week ago at The Barn at Gibbet Hill in Groton, MA. You may remember their fun engagement session last September, too. As much as we’re all eagerly awaiting more than a 24 hour spell of warm weather, this day was still chilly… and REALLY windy. But the weather didn’t spoil the mood for Kim and Jeff’s wedding day. After all, the sun was at least shining — we haven’t had a lot of that either! I was joined for the day by Doug Levy, and we met up with Kim and Jeff as they were getting ready nearby. We all met up back at Gibbet Hill for a first look on the breezy back porch. Back inside was the lovely ceremony. We were able to sneak out briefly afterwards for a few portraits, but the soggy lawn and vortex winds quickly drove us back inside  to the warmth of the rustic barn, just in time for introductions. There were toasts, an incredible meal and loads of dancing that kept the energy high all night long. What a great night! Below are a few of my favorite images from the day…

Thank you Kim and Jeff for having us at your wedding. And a huge thanks to my good friend Doug Levy for returning to the scene of the crime (i.e. his own wedding!) and for joining me for the day. Great work also by the following:
