A Wentworth by the Sea Hotel Wedding – Lindsay & John

Lindsay and John’s Wentworth by the Sea Hotel wedding was awesome, but there was little doubt in my mind it would be after spending a freezing cold evening with them in December for their engagement session. It takes special people to brave the icy winds along the Charles River, and laugh and smile the entire time. Their wedding day was much the same — a lot of laughing and smiling, though this time with tons more people! When I arrived at Lindsay’s room I thought half the hotel was crammed in there. They had a large wedding party, so there were bridesmaids everywhere getting ready. We did a little tidying up before Lindsay donned her dress and we headed out. David was tagging along with John and his many groomsmen, and we all reconvened in downtown Portsmouth for that little marriage ceremony thing that 200 people showed up for 🙂 Following, we all headed over to the Great Island Common for portraits. We ended up there at the ideal time, and managed to catch a stunning sunset before heading back to the hotel. The laughter continued through toasts and dancing, where tambourines and a cow bell managed to find there way onto the dance floor! Everyone had a great time, including us, and I am excited to share a few of my favorite images below…

Thank you Lindsay and John for having us along to photograph your wedding day. A big thanks to David for joining me and for his always great images. Great work also by the following folks:
