A Boston Harbor Hotel Wedding – Erin & Brian

Ah, Boston in the Fall… people bustling about, crisp air and blue-bird skies. Erin and Brian’s wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel was a perfect Fall wedding day. When I first met Erin and Brian they had flown into Boston for wedding “errands”, and we were able to sneak in an engagement session. I had a great time in the city with them, and was looking forward to the wedding. We met up with them as they were getting ready. We had lots of time before heading off to the gorgeous Cathedral of the Holy Cross. It was nice for everyone not to feel rushed before heading out the door. If you haven’t been to the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston, you’ll notice that the center aisle is about, oh, a quarter mile long! It was fun to watch Erin and her father walk down, and Brian’s anticipation as she neared. We did a few portraits outside of the church before returning to the Hotel for the reception. Cocktails were offered to guests outside overlooking the harbor, and dinner and dancing were had inside the beautiful Wharf Room. Everything seemed to come together perfectly, and it was a joy to photograph this great couple and fun group of people. Here are some of my favorites from the day…
