A Grappone Conference Center Wedding – Rachael & Burton

Ah, brisk winter weddings. I love the uniqueness of a snowy scene. The cold temperatures can present a challenge at times, however, you’d hardly know if taking a look at Rachael and Burton. It takes a special couple to plan a January wedding in New Hampshire AND want to maximize outdoor photo opportunities! Rachael and Burton opted to have a first look prior to their ceremony so that we would have some daylight to work with. We found a frozen pond across the street, which made for a unique portrait location to say the least. And lucky for me — and everyone, really — no one fell through. After thoroughly chilling ourselves outside, we all returned to the venue to warm up and prepare for the short and sweet ceremony. At the reception, a highlight for me was the daddy-daughter dance. Probably not quite what you’re thinking, this was Burton dancing with his little girl. There were not too many dry eyes in the room after that one. The party picked up right away though, and everyone danced and laughed the night away. Here are a few of my favorite images from the day…
