Ice Fest 2015 Portraits
February 11, 2015
Having an opportunity to combine ice climbing, photography and good friends is a no-brainer. Throw in the chance to help raise some money to help out another climber in need is even better. That’s what happened this past weekend at the 2015 Mount Washington Valley Ice Festival. I was on hand Friday evening making portraits of festival goers. I was joined by my good friend Nathan Desch of Nathan Desch Photography (he’s awesome; check out his stunning work!), and we had a great time capturing some colorful pictures of happy people. All images are now available online here, and digital downloads and prints may be ordered. 100% of all profits from orders will be given to my good friend and climbing partner Jim Ewing, who was badly hurt in a climbing accident the day after Christmas. If you missed it at Ice Fest, we were also selling beautiful posters to help raise money for Jim’s medical expenses. Posters may be ordered online also using the link above.
A BIG thanks to the MWV Ice Fest for having me, and to all of the festival goers who stepped in for a portrait! Below are just a few of the many portraits taken…
