A Mount Washington Hotel Wedding – Colleen & JP

I love winter weddings, and in New Hampshire there is almost no better place to celebrate a winter wedding than at the Mount Washington Hotel, as Colleen and JP found out earlier this month. You’re almost guaranteed to have a white wedding, and you have nearly as good a chance of it actually snowing on your wedding day. Nestled in the heart of the White Mountains at the foot of Mount Washington, the Mount Washington Hotel made a perfect mid-way location for these two. Colleen’s family traveled north from the Boston area, while JP’s family headed south from Canada. We met up with Colleen and JP as they were getting ready for their first look and ceremony at St. Patrick’s just up the road. As wedding days often go, things got a little behind schedule and we lost our opportunity for portraits with just Colleen and JP before the ceremony, but it worked out well in that by the time the ceremony ended it was snowing, which added a little winter magic to their portraits. Back inside things heated up quickly with the Sultan’s of Swing rocking the dance floor! Here are some of my favorite images from the day…

Thank you Colleen and JP for having us at your wedding. And a huge thanks to Nathan Desch for joining me for the day all the way from Pennsylvania. Great work also by the following folks:
