Annie and Alex ‘ Beauport Hotel wedding photos took place this past October. Annie and Alex each got ready for the day at their family homes nearby, which is where Jamie and I met up with them. It was great spending time with Annie and her family, surrounded by years of family photos, mementos and history. Once ready, we all headed to the church in Charlestown for their wedding ceremony. Afterwards, and on our way to the Beauport, we made a quick stop at the Navy Yard for wedding party photos and portraits of Annie and Alex with the Boston city skyline as the backdrop. Spectacular!

The Beauport Hotel is located on the beach in Gloucester. The hotel is gorgeous, and such a pleasure to shoot at. There’s so many fantastic visual elements to work with as a photographer. Upon arriving at the hotel, we dispensed with family photos, and snuck in a few sunset pictures before introductions and formalities kicked off. I have seem some pretty wild and choreographed dances over the years, but the hat dance performed by Annie and her father is way up there on the list. So amazing, and Annie’s dress twirling was a sight to be seen! Formalities completed, it was time to party, and Brick Park definitely rocked it! We finished with a few night time portraits.
