Early this month I traveled up the coast of Maine for Sophie and Joe’s Clark’s Cove Farm & Inn wedding. It was a classic summer day in Maine, and that means a gorgeous day for a wedding! We met up with Sophie and Joe as the were getting ready. The guys were on the back lawn playing wiffle ball, while the ladies were buzzing around putting finishing touches on make-up and hair. Sophie and Joe met for a first look in the orchard, followed by family pictures in the garden. The ceremony took place atop a hill overlooking the farm. Talk about a beautiful view! Their ceremony was a combination of many traditions, including Quaker and Jewish, and incorporated both of their families into the service. Afterwards, everyone gathered in the lawn for cocktails and mingling, followed by dinner and toasts in the barn. Then there was dancing. Lots and lots of dancing!
