Colonnade Hotel Wedding Photos – Rachel & Cole
Rachel and Cole’s Colonade wedding photos took place this past October on a beautiful blue bird day. The Colonnade Hotel, one of my personal favorite Boston wedding venues. It has a great location, a beautiful ballroom, and it’s one of the few photos were you can get roof top skyline views. I first met Rachel and Cole and her sister’s wedding earlier in the year. It’s always wonderful to see familiar faces at a wedding, but photographing two sister’s wedding in the same year was a first for me!
Rachel and Cole planned their first look in the iconic black and white checkered hallway, before heading outside for some photos. We wandered over to the Christian Science Plaza– where we would also end up later in the evening for some night time shot — before heading back inside for the wedding.
Following the ceremony, Rachel and Cole snuck off to the spectacular roof top for a few more sunset pictures. I am not sure there is a cooler spot to be that time of day in Boston! Back downstairs, Night Shift was getting ready for the reception. They absolutely killed it, as they always do! If you are looking for a wedding bad, Night Shift should definitely be on your list to check out.
We finished the day with some night time portraits outside. The city lights were spectacular. I am excited to share some highlights below…
