I have fallen a little behind on blogging, but that only makes me more excited to share Courtney and Justin’s awesome Fourth of July wedding at The Barn at Hardy Farm in Freyberg, Maine. I first met Courtney at the Farm a year or so prior, and then again when I photographed their engagement session. Based on those interactions, and every one in between, I was really looking forward to their wedding. Toss in a venue where I had never photographed before, and it made for a win-win in my book. We met up as both Courtney and Justin were getting ready. I’ve never actually spent so much time in a tub, but that’s just the only spot in the room where there was room for me to photograph from :-) Later, their ceremony in the woods was one of the funnier I have ever seen — when was the last time you saw the officiant ask the couple to do The Robot at the beginning of their ceremony? Pretty spectacular. The dance party moved to the tent and then the barn, and went strong to the very last minute. The evening ended with a sparkler send-off and a few more fun shots. It was a great day, and I’d love to share some of my favorites below….
