New England Aquarium Wedding Photos – Chrissy & Brian

Chrissy and Brian were married at the New England Aquarium in Boston. I had wanted to photograph a wedding at the aquarium for some time, and was very excited to be there, with this wonderful couple. I was also joined by my cajun friend Roddy Orgeron Photography, who was up from New Orleans for the weekend. We started as Chrissy and Brian were getting ready at the Intercontinental Hotel just up the road. The met for a first look along the water before heading heading over to meet up with the penguins and guests for their ceremony. The ceremony looked amazing, and Chrissy and Brian looked so excited — why wouldn’t they? — coming down the aisle. We spend a little time on the upper floors of the aquarium taking some pictures. I’d lie if I said I’d never taken portraits with sea turtles swimming by (I’ve photographed two weddings in the Cayman Islands after all), but it’s not often and always awesome! We moved back into the tent where the ceremony was for the reception. Everyone had a great time, and were so much fun to hang out with. Here are some of my favorites from the day…
