Back in mid-October David and I headed down to Westbrook, Connecticut for Jillian and Eric’s wedding at Water’s Edge Resort. As mild as this winter has been, this particular day was quite chilly for the month. With their ceremony right on the water’s edge (how appropriate, right?!?), there was more than one frozen person in the crowd, and the one I know if for certain was me! By the end of the ceremony my fingers were totally numb. But, it was such a good — and humorous — ceremony it hardly mattered. Before all of that, however, we met up with Jillian and Eric as they were getting ready. They connected for a first look in the resort’s gardens, and then we braved the cold for some portraits. Following the ceremony, we lingered for sunset before heading inside. Jillian and Eric win first dance… dips, twirls, lifts… wow! It was amazing, and something they worked hard on. That dance set the tone for the rest of the evening, with high energy, big smiles loads of fun. Check it out for yourself!
