A Whitney’s Inn Wedding – Allison & Nick

Allison and Nick were married at the end of August in Jackson, NH at Whitney’s Inn. Whitney’s is a lovely rustic barn venue nestled up on the side of Black Mountain, and Allison and Nick are a wonderful couple who were great fun to spend the day with. If you missed their engagement session this past Spring in Newburyport, be sure to check that out first. That will prepare you for the always smiling Allison, and get you warmed up for the fun that was their wedding day. We began the day as they were both getting ready at Whitney’s. Allison and Nick met for a first look out back, and then we all piled into the bus for a tour around Jackson, stopping here and there for pictures. Back at the Inn, it was time to get the wedding underway in the garden. I love ceremonies that have a bit of everything… some laughter, some tears and lots of emotion. Check! Afterwards, everyone recessed to the barn for dinner and dancing, but not before Allison and Nick were introduced by way of a customized Star Trek intro. EPIC! That set the tone for a fun night that was possibly more party than wedding reception… or maybe just lots of both. No matter how you slice it, it was a fantastic time, and one I am psyched to share below…
