Newbury Boston Wedding Photos – Anna & Survival
This past Saturday I was in town for Anna and Survival’s Newbury Boston wedding photos. I had a ball at their engagement session at Boston College last Fall (which did include pizza at 10pm in the North End), so that — combined with the fact that these two are among the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met — had me very excited for this day to arrive.
We joined up with Anna and Survival at the The Newbury hotel as they got ready. They chose to do a first look in the Boston Public Garden, which as the name suggests isn’t so private, especially on such an unseasonably warm day. The groomsmen parted the crowd as Anna walked out onto the bridge over the Lagoon. The entire crowd hushed as Anna neared Survival and they embraced. The silence was broken as Survival raised a triumphant fist into the air and yelled “that’s my wife!” This, of course, was answered with applause from the wedding party and passerbys alike!
It was then off to the church, followed by some night portraits back in town on Comm Ave. The reception was filled with energy; massive amounts of energy. Toasts, laughter, dancing and more laughter are what I remember most of the blur that went by over the next several hours. Thank goodness we had cameras to document this amazing event.
And here are a few of my favorites…
