Sara & Sam: A Danversport Yacht Club Wedding

Two weeks ago Sara and Sam were married. It was a rainy, cold, borderline miserable Friday afternoon. Driving to meet up with Sara I was reduced to 35 MPH on the interstate… it was raining that hard! But, as I arrived at the hotel the rain stopped the clouds parted and the evening turned gorgeous. It was much like the evening we spent at Fort Foster for their engagement session last year… cool with a fantastic sunset! But, I’m getting ahead of myself… I met Sara with her ladies as they were getting ready. As usual, everyone was buzzing around, busy trying to put the finishing touches on their hair, make-up and dresses. Once ready, Sara headed over to the Danversport Yacht Club for the ceremony. The outside ceremony staedrt just prior to sunset, which made a fantastic backdrop for their vows. Immediately afterwards we raced through family portraits and caught the last of the sunsets rich colors before heading inside for introductions, dances and toasts. This multi-cultural crew — Sam is from Great Britain — definitely knew how to party. As the evening drew towards close, the dance floor felt like a raucous British pub, or at least how I imagine one! The short of it is that everyone had a great time, and I am so happy to have been their to document their day! Below are some of my favorites…

Thank you Sara and Sam for having me along to document your day. Great work by the following:
