A Marriott Long Wharf Wedding – Kristen & Alex

Kristen and Alex were married earlier this summer in Boston and celebrated at the beautiful Marriot Long Wharf hotel. I was joined for the day by fellow MagMod Ambassador Alex Wiciel, and we met up with Kristen and Alex as they were getting ready at the hotel. I first met Alex at his sister Sarah’s wedding in Rhode Island, and then got the chance to hang out with he and Kristen last Fall in Maine for their engagement session. Needless to say, I was really looking forward to this day, and it did not disappoint!

We spent a little time at the hotel before heading over to St. Cecelia’s for their ceremony. I have photographed many ceremonies at St. Cecelia, and it is such a lovely church. Following the ceremony we paused for a few formal photos before scooting out to the Public Garden for more formals and some portraits with Kristen and Alex. The day was gorgeous, and I think we counted 6 other bridal parties roving around the Garden. On our way back to the Long Wharf we were dropped off at Christopher Columbus Park for a few more portraits. Being right behind the Long Wharf, we spent a little time here and then walked back to cocktail hour on the back balcony.

Inside the ballroom was decked out and ready for festivities to get underway! Intros, first dance, speeches — including one by former client Ryan! — and parent dances rounded out the formalities, and setup everyone for a fantastic dance party. Before wrapping up, we were able to sneak out really quickly for a few more portraits by the water and with the city lights coming to life. It was a great day, and I am psyched to share some of my favorite images from Kristen and Alex’s day below….

Thank you Kristen and Alex for having me along to document your wedding day. And a big thanks to Alexsandra Wiciel for joining me! Great working by the following:
