Elegant Cliff House Maine Wedding – Kaitlin & Ed

Kaitlin and Ed’s elegant October Cliff House Maine wedding was classic Maine. A beautiful hotel sitting atop the rocky Maine coast, a lighthouse, and expansive ocean views. The Cliff House offers it all, and made for a wonderful backdrop to Kaitlin and Ed’s wedding day. On top of that, these two were so much fun to photograph!

Kaitlin and Ed both got ready at the hotel, and connected for a First Look in the front lawn. We then headed 15 minutes up the road to Nubble Lighthouse. Nubble is an iconic southern Maine destination, and is close enough to the Cliff House that you can incorporate it into your wedding day if you so choose.

Once we were back at the Cliff House, we all headed to the namesake cliffs for group photos. You need to keep an eye on the sun and tide when shooting down at the cliffs. If there isn’t good light, or the water is high, you want to be sure to go back later. We went back down during sunset too, and the light was so soft and beautiful. Kaitlin and Ed were so laid back, and just soaked it all in!

In the ballroom, the party was just about ready to kick off, and DJ Greg Sowa guided us through the reception masterfully. Just like the rest of the day, the reception was awesome, and so much fun. Browse the day below to see for yourself, and I promise you will agree.
