Odiorne Point Elopement – Jessica & Kevin

A couple of weeks ago I met Jessica and Kevin at Odiorne Point State Park for the intimate wedding ceremony. They planned a private ceremony — just them and the JP, although were “crashed” by their moms (which is cool!). The weather was not looking good for this seaside elopement, but just as we were gearing up to walk to the ceremony location the rain stopped and the fog lifted ever so slightly. What we were left with was gorgeous, even lighting, even if it was a tad chilly. They just snuggled a little closer together during portraits! Have a peek below…

We arrived to gorgeous colors and rain (I am not sure when it last didn’t rain at a wedding this Fall!)…

The ceremony was to take place at the secluded ocean-side site of the Founders Monument, honoring the first Pilgrim settlers in New Hampshire in 1623.

It is a beautiful walk out to the site…

Not a bad spot for a ceremony…

The only guests for this intimate wedding ceremony were Jessica and Kevin’s mothers…

It doesn’t matter how large or small the wedding, at the end of the ceremony it’s always just a man and a woman alone in the moment…

Following the ceremony we took time for some portraits…

I love this one… alone on the water…

And then we wandered out to the rocky shore. It was much windier and chillier here…

But Kevin and Jessica, especially, were troopers and you’d never know she was freezing!

So cute together!

I was loving this great stand of birch trees. So cool!

And a final parting shot…

Thank you Jessica and Kevin for including me in your private ceremony. I am so glad I was able to be there to capture the moment for you to share with your family and friends.
