Great Bay Strength and Conditioning

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to photograph a commercial fitness session for Great Bay Strength and Conditioning, a Southern New Hampshire CrossFit gym focused on strength, movement, and performance.

I’ve known co-owner Eric Morris for years. When I first started CrossFit, he taught me the fundamentals of lifting safely and effectively. Because of that foundation, I developed a strong appreciation for proper form, mobility, and overall fitness. So, I was excited to see what he and co-owner Jeremiah Richter built with their new facility.

Recently, the gym launched a new website and needed updated commercial photography to support their branding and marketing. As a result, we focused on creating a mix of professional images that highlight both the coaching staff and the training environment.

We started with clean, modern portraits of the trainers. These images are perfect for website use, social media, and promotional materials. After that, I stayed to document two full WODs (workouts of the day). During those sessions, I captured real moments of effort, movement, and intensity—key elements of strong sports photography.

Throughout the shoot, the goal was to create authentic imagery. That meant focusing on proper technique, dynamic motion, and the energy of the gym. In turn, the final images reflect both the culture of the space and the professionalism of the coaching staff.

Overall, this commercial fitness and sports photography session was all about telling a story. From branding portraits to action shots, the images give a true sense of what it’s like inside the gym.
