Floriana Ipswich Wedding Photos – Elizabeth & Greg
Elizabeth and Greg’s Newburyport, MA wedding and reception at Floriana in Ipswich was the kind of day that felt effortless from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the energy was relaxed, joyful, and fully present.
I had a feeling it would be. After all, Elizabeth and Greg had attended two weddings I photographed in recent years—Sarah and Mike’s, and Chelsey and Tom’s. Because of that, I already knew their group of friends brought great energy. Once again, they did not disappoint.
Getting Ready in Newburyport
To begin, I met Greg and his groomsmen in downtown Newburyport as they got ready. The atmosphere was easygoing, and the guys kept things light.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth and her bridesmaids were getting ready just a few minutes away at her parents’ home. Since I don’t always get time with both sides of the wedding party, this part of the day felt especially meaningful. It gave me a more complete picture of their story.
Ceremony in Downtown Newburyport
After that, everyone gathered at a local Newburyport church for the ceremony. Surrounded by family and friends, Elizabeth and Greg exchanged vows in a setting that felt both timeless and intimate.
Then, instead of rushing off, we took advantage of the location. We walked through downtown Newburyport, stopping along the way for portraits. Eventually, we made our way to the waterfront, where their families met us. That moment—simple and unplanned—felt like one of the most genuine parts of the day.
Reception at Floriana | Ipswich, MA
From there, the celebration continued at Floriana in Ipswich, where everything shifted into full celebration mode.
The speeches, in particular, stood out. First, Elizabeth’s sister delivered a heartfelt toast. Then, Greg’s brother took the mic and had the entire room laughing. Although he joked about his speech being too long, he absolutely nailed it.
Sunset Portraits & Dancing
As the evening unfolded, we stepped outside for sunset portraits. These moments always slow the day down in the best way. Special thanks to Elizabeth’s brother Taylor for helping make that happen.
Afterward, everyone headed back inside—and the dance floor filled immediately. From that point on, the energy never dipped.
A Day That Felt Like Them
Ultimately, what made this wedding stand out wasn’t just the beautiful locations or the smooth timeline. Instead, it was the people.
Because I had worked with this group before, it felt less like showing up to a new wedding and more like returning to something familiar. That trust made a real difference.
Elizabeth and Greg created a day that felt true to them—relaxed, connected, and genuinely fun from beginning to end.
