Jenness Beach Senior Portraits – Cleo C.

It was so much fun making Cleo’s Jenness Beach senior portraits. For anyone unfamiliar, Jenness Beach is a pretty expansive beach in New Hampshire. It’s a perfect location for a senior who wants a wide open sandy beach with coastal view. It’s also very popular with surfers, which is one of the primary reasons that Cleo chose this location.

As it turned out, we didn’t have expansive views because a fog bank moved in over the coast, but it was so cool it wasn’t anything to be sad about! The weather was so moody, and I love how Cleo’s images turned out. Aside from the fog, we had a lot to work with at Jenness. Sea grass, rocks, and wet sandy beach all made great backdrops for Cleo’s electric personality.

About half way through the session, Cleo did an outfit change and pulled out her surfboard. These are probably my favorite images from the session. I absolutely love we seniors incorporate their interests and personalities into their session. And in this case, Cleo lit up when the board came out. You could easily tell this was what got her excited!
