Rivermill Dover Wedding – Kerri Ann & Alex

Kerri Ann and Alex’s Rivermill wedding photos were the perfect way to wrap up my wedding season. It was a busy year, so this celebration felt like a wonderful finale. Better yet, the venue is practically in my backyard. I drive past Rivermill every day while taking my daughter to school. Because of that, photographing a wedding there felt extra special.

To start the day, I met up with Kerri Ann and her bridesmaids at Silver Fountain Inn while they finished getting ready. Meanwhile, my longtime friend and second photographer, Patrick McNamara, spent the morning with Alex and the guys in downtown Dover. Once everyone was ready, we headed to Rivermill at Dover Landing for one of my favorite parts of the day — the first look.

For winter weddings in New Hampshire, first looks are always a great idea. Daylight disappears quickly during the colder months. Because of that, couples get more time for natural and relaxed portraits before the ceremony begins. Thankfully, Rivermill at Dover Landing offers countless creative photo locations throughout the historic mill building. We explored one of the towers for portraits. There, we found an incredible hidden corner filled with character, texture, and beautiful light.

Meanwhile, downstairs, the ceremony space glowed with candles and string lights. The industrial architecture at Rivermill at Dover Landing created a warm and intimate atmosphere. It perfectly suited Kerri Ann and Alex’s wedding day. Most importantly, the ceremony felt deeply personal. It included all the traditional moments. At the same time, it reflected the couple’s personalities in an authentic way.

After the ceremony, we stepped outside for a few quick portraits in the chilly evening air. Then we joined guests inside for the reception. From there, the celebration really began. The evening included all the classic wedding reception moments. These included introductions, first dances, parent dances, and heartfelt toasts. However, the standout moment of the night belonged to Kerri Ann’s sisters. Their unforgettable rap-style toast stole the show and had the entire room laughing.

The dance floor stayed packed all night thanks to DJ Nate Downs. He kept the energy high from start to finish. In fact, I don’t think Kerri Ann and Alex left the dance floor once the party started.

Overall, Kerri Ann and Alex’s Rivermill at Dover Landing wedding was filled with personality, laughter, and nonstop energy. It was the perfect way to close out my New Hampshire wedding season. I’m excited to share a few of my favorite images from their beautiful day below.

Thank you Kerri Ann and Alex having us along to document your big day. And a very big thanks also to Patrick McNamara for joining me for the day. Great work also by the following:
