New England Aquarium Wedding Photos – Jessica & Jean Paul
The New England Aquarium has always been one of my favorite places for wedding photos. The venue is so interesting and unique. And I find the couples who get married there are usually planning a very fun and unique wedding.
Jessica and Jean Paul’s wedding in December was so much fun. While they created their wedding to reflect their own vision, they did incorporate some traditional moments as well. We spent time getting ready at the Marriot Long Wharf before heading over to the Aquarium. They opted not to do a first look, so we knew that all of their photos would be done after dark. And they did their Ketubah signing after the ceremony instead of before.
If you have not been to a wedding inside the aquarium, you will also notice that the inside is quite dark. It’s a challenging venue to photograph in because photographers are not permitted to bring in any outside lighting (i.e. no flash photography). I have photographed several indoor wedding here (and outside ones in the summer, too), so I am very familiar with the rules and challenges. Do your homework when considering a photographer!
Jessica and Jean Paul’s wedding was as unique and fun as they are. I had a great time spending the day celebrating with them, and I am excited to share some of my favorite mages from their day below.
