Odiorne Point Sunrise Engagement Photos – Alison & Peter

It takes a very special couple to get up before sunrise for a photo shoot. Alison and Peter are that couple, meeting me at Odiorne Point for their engagement photos back in August.

I had first met Alison back in late 2016, and I was excited to connect with her and Peter again. While I may only do one or two sunrise shoots each year, I always love them. It’s so cool watching the sun peek up over the ocean. The sessions typically feel a little more hurried to start because the sun comes up fast, and there is no redo or faking it later. Once the sun is up, the light is gorgeous, and familiar scenes are transformed because the sun is 180-degrees opposite of where it usually is coming from.

All that is to say, it was awesome meeting up with Alison and Peter at Odiorne Point. We took sunrise portraits on the rocks, and the wandered the coast line for a bit. Here are a few of my favorites from their early morning session…
