Stephanie and Ryan’s wedding at the historic The Pierce House in Lincoln, MA was a wonderful, intimate affair. They were surrounded by family and close friends on a near perfect day.

Stephanie got ready upstairs in the well-appointed bridal suite as guests filtered into the historic mansion. I was surprised when a couple of familiar faces wandered in, Celia and Rick Wilcox. Rick is the owner of International Mountain Equipment, my local climbing shop, and I also photographed his daughter’s wedding just a few weeks beforehand. I believe this was the 4th wedding I have photographed where Rick and Cecelia were present.

Anyway, Stephanie and Ryan met on an expedition to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, and expedition led by the Wilcox’s. There doesn’t sound like a better way to meet to me. On this day, however, they met up at the end of a lovely garden aisle for their marriage ceremony. Following the ceremony, a casual lunch was served for guests.
