A Pinkham Notch Wedding – NH Adventure Wedding Photographer

The White Mountain National Forest is a very special place, and it is to Lara and Dayne too. They decided to get married on the flanks of Mount Washington at Crystal Cascade on the Tuckerman Ravine Train in Pinkham Notch. When Lara and Dayne contacted me about their NH adventure wedding in the Whites, and outlined their plans for hiking partway up the mountain in their wedding garb, I knew I wanted to be there.

It was a gorgeous September day for a hike, let alone a wedding. I met up with both Lara and Dayne as they were getting ready at a private residence high above the town of Jackson, NH. While Lara finished getting ready, Dayne and their guests headed up the mountain. We followed shortly afterwards to the secluded waterfall-side ceremony location. The service was performed by a friend, adding to the intimate feel of the day. Following the ceremony, we took time for portraits as we meandered back down the trail, and ultimately back to the house, where guests were enjoying sunset, cocktails and food on the deck. Lara and Dayne enjoyed the rest of the evening with their family and friends.
