Smolak Farms Engagement Photos – Lisa & Matthew

ILisa and Matthew’s Smolak Farms engagement photos checked all the boxes for a great autumn session in New England. From crisp October air to rows of apple trees at peak color, this North Andover apple orchard provided the perfect setting for a romantic engagement session.

We began by wandering around and exploring the orchard, taking advantage of the vibrant fall colors and natural textures all around. Lisa and Matthew even pulled out a blanket for a faux picnic in the orchard! These two are all smiles and laughter. From there, we wandered into towards the corn maze for a more playful, candid feel before heading uphill just in time for a glowing October sunset. At the top of the hill, we were rewarded with beautiful golden light — perfect for soft, romantic portraits. We finished the session back near the barn, capturing the final moments of daylight as the sun dipped below the horizon.

Lisa and Matthew were an absolute joy to photograph, and I’m already looking forward to documenting their wedding next October. If their engagement session is any indication, it’s going to be incredible. Below are some of my favorite images from their session…
