Odiorne Point Family Photos

I was super excited to squeeze this Odiorne Point family photos before the arrival of hurricane Sandy. We finished the session just as the rain started to fall, and its only just stopped this morning. Based on the wind howling outside yesterday, I would venture to guess that most of the leaves in these photos are no longer around, but on Sunday morning they were still looking gorgeous! Rob and Ginelle mentioned that they had no pictures of Patrick smiling; something I hear often from parents. We didn’t have any problem coaxing a smile out of him this morning though. In fact, Patrick was quite the little ham. Here are a few of my favorites from their session. This is one happy family…

Odiorne Point family photos of Rob and Ginelle sitting with their son among the fall foliage

Odiorne Point in Rye is one of my favorite spots on the New Hampshire seacoast for a family session, especially in the fall when the foliage is at its peak. Between the rocky tidepools, the open fields, and the wooded trails, there’s a different backdrop around every corner, which makes for wonderfully varied Odiorne Point family photos in a single session. Rob and Ginelle’s little guy Patrick was such a good sport for the whole afternoon, weather scare and all, and it was such a treat to watch this family enjoy their time together at the park. If you’re thinking about scheduling your own family portraits along the seacoast, I’d love to help you plan the perfect session.
