Jennifer and Ryan’s luxury Wentworth by the Sea wedding took place on a beautiful summer day along the New Hampshire Seacoast. From start to finish, their celebration was filled with elegance, stunning waterfront scenery, and plenty of unforgettable moments. It’s easy to see why the Wentworth by the Sea remains one of the premier luxury wedding venues in New England.

The day began at the Wentworth’s Marina Suites in New Castle, NH. There, Jennifer and Ryan got ready with their closest friends and family. The marina provides a peaceful waterfront setting and is one of my favorite places for wedding morning portraits.

Before the ceremony, I spent some time with Jennifer and her bridesmaids along the docks. Meanwhile, the guys headed north to St. Joseph Church in Dover. The calm waterfront setting made for a perfect start to the day.

Soon afterward, everyone gathered at St. Joseph Church for the ceremony. Jennifer and Ryan exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends. The ceremony was heartfelt, joyful, and full of emotion.

Following the ceremony, we returned to the Wentworth by the Sea Hotel for family portraits and cocktail hour. However, before joining their guests, Jennifer and Ryan slipped away with me for a few portraits along the coast.

One of my favorite portrait locations near the Wentworth is Great Island Common. Located just minutes from the hotel, it offers incredible ocean views and dramatic shoreline scenery. In addition, the location is especially beautiful in the evening. The soft coastal light created the perfect backdrop for some of my favorite images from the day.

Afterward, we headed back to the hotel as guests gathered for the reception. The historic architecture and elegant ballroom provided a beautiful setting for the celebration ahead.

Once the reception began, the energy never slowed down. First came the formal dances and toasts. Then the dance floor quickly filled with family and friends ready to celebrate. Throughout the evening, guests packed the ballroom and kept the party going.

Later in the night, we stepped outside for a few additional portraits. Even then, the waterfront setting continued to provide a stunning backdrop. Those quiet moments gave Jennifer and Ryan a chance to soak in the excitement of the day before returning to the celebration.

As a Wentworth by the Sea wedding photographer, weddings like this are always a reminder of what makes this venue so special. Not only does the hotel offer beautiful waterfront views, but it also combines historic charm with luxury service. As a result, it remains one of the most sought-after wedding venues on the New Hampshire Seacoast.
