Ilaria and Mike’s Toad Hill Farm wedding in Franconia, New Hampshire brought together guests from all over the world for a weekend in the White Mountains. They traveled from California, while many of Ilaria’s friends and family made the trip from Italy. It was a celebration filled with energy, personality, and a mix of cultures that made the day unforgettable.

To round things out, my friend Roddy joined me from New Orleans as a second photographer. A little Cajun influence didn’t hurt the atmosphere either.

Toad Hill Farm Wedding Venue in Franconia, NH

Toad Hill Farm is one of the most unique wedding venues in Franconia, NH, set deep in the White Mountains. The property offers a relaxed, private setting with incredible mountain views in every direction.

The farmhouse is spacious and well designed, making it easy for both sides of the wedding party to get ready on site. It keeps the day simple and allows everything to unfold naturally.

The ceremony location sits at the top of the hill and offers sweeping 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains. It’s one of the most scenic ceremony spots in the region.

Back down the hill, the paddock is home to a large tent that provides shade and space for the reception. For guests traveling from out of town, the option to camp on the property adds to the full White Mountains wedding experience.

A White Mountains Wedding Full of Energy

Ilaria looked incredible, and Mike fully embraced the celebration by changing into lederhosen for the reception. From there, the energy only built.

The dance floor stayed packed all night, with guests fully immersed in the moment. At one point, the energy was so high that people were literally falling on the dance floor. It was the kind of celebration where everyone was present, expressive, and completely invested in the day.

It was impossible not to feel it while photographing.

Two weeks ago lots of people from all over converged on Toad Hill Farm in Franconia, NH for Ilaria and Mike’s wedding. Ilaria and Mike traveled back to Mike’s home state from California, while many of Ilaria’s friends and family crossed the pond to attend from Italy. If that wasn’t diversity enough, my good friend Roddy came all the way up from New Orleans to second shoot for me. Nothing like a little Cajun seasoning tossed into the pot to create a sure fire recipe for wedding day awesomeness! And awesome it was! There was great location, a gorgeous bride, a groom who changed into lederhosen, and so much energy people were literally falling down on the dance floor!
