Madelyn’s Prescott Park senior photos took place on a gorgeous September evening. The gardens at Prescott were in full bloom and looking great.

If you are not familiar with Prescott Park, it is located in downtown Portsmouth, right on the Piscataqua River. There are numerous gardens, including the centerpiece fountains. Prescott is a wonderful senior portrait location because of the vibrant colors, all of the textures — flowers, brick, weathered wood, etc. — and the water views over the river. It’s also easily accessed with lots of on-street parking, making it a convenient location.

For Madelyn’s session, we started at the central gardens, and worked our way around the park. She was fantastic to work with throughout the session. We finished up on the piers with some twilight shots, my favorites from the session.
